Why does your moon phase differ from another site?
Small differences in moon phase calculations are normal and usually come down to timezone handling or rounding in the phase boundaries. Our calculations use the synodic month anchored to a precisely known reference new moon. If you notice a significant discrepancy, please let us know.
Can I embed your moon phase widget on my website?
We don't currently offer an embeddable widget, but this is something we're considering for the future. Please contact us if this is something you'd find useful — the demand will help us prioritise it.
How do I know which moon sign I was born under?
Your natal moon sign depends on the date, time, and location of your birth. Because the Moon changes sign every 2–3 days, you'll need a birth chart calculator with your exact birth time for an accurate reading. We recommend using a dedicated astrology chart service for this.
Is your astronomical data suitable for scientific use?
Our calculations are suitable for general reference and casual astronomical interest. For precision scientific applications — such as eclipse timing, occultation predictions, or professional observational astronomy — please use a dedicated ephemeris such as JPL Horizons or the US Naval Observatory's MICA software.
